Tested both Companion 1.4 and beta 2.0 (same module I presume) and no luck with the Sony brc-h800 One command actually reached one of the cameras, one time, and luckily managed to change the speed, recalling and transfer to new preset.

This was done primarily so individual users have the option to modify/disable/remove the default pi user as a security measure.
WebDec 13, 2024 · Fix it up to remain in the 2.1 releases. I think the following steps should force it into place. Backup your config, and restore in a new installation of companion pi. I think it will be /home/pi/companion, but it could be somewhere else. Remain on the 2.2 branch, and update node. I don't quite know what steps will be needed here. WebJul 16, 2024 · Open Companion Companion’s Web Server icon will be in the top-right menu bar. Click it to open the tray. Check the server is running locally on 127.0.0.1 (easiest setup). Set the Port to 8000 Launch GUI in a web browser. Install the DJF Companion Profile Navigate tabs to Buttons > Import/Export.

You either get a "OBS has crashed" message or an exe crash message. According to previously closed ticket 52, 4.9.1 fixed an issue with 2.2 that stopped this from happening.
