WebOct 27, 2015 · It's quite a nice K98k-ZF41 made on a late l-block byf44. The piece has all matching serial numbers (on bolt components, other parts are correctly unnumbered). It has the late bolt with round vent holes, but they left off the "l" letter suffix when they numbered the bolt. Safety is E/37 marked from Sauer parts transferred to and used by Mauser. Most of the higher blocks were completed late 44/early 45, so the higher the serial the less likely to find a standard type Mauser Oberndorf made stock.
