A severe flood could see 134,000 people required to evacuate with that number forecast to double over the next 30 years. WebOver the years various state agencies have undertaken flood studies and investigations. Currently the NSW Government is undertaking the Hawkesbury - Nepean Flood Management Review to address regional flooding matters. The Nepean River Flood Study was adopted by Council on 26 November 2024, after public exhibition of the draft.
